San Juan Water District Seeks Qualified Candidates for Engineer
The District can hire at either the Associate or Senior level based on the experience of the selected candidate. The Associate/Senior Engineer reports to the Engineering Services Manager and is responsible for:
To be considered, candidates should be knowledgeable of principles and practices of civil engineering, design, construction and maintenance requirements associated with water system facilities, principles of construction management and have an ability to confidently manage consultants and contractors and possess strong customer service skills (for both internal and external customers). The qualified candidate should possess:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience: For the Associate level, a minimum of five years of professional engineering experience including project management experience. For the Senior level, a minimum of eight years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience including project management responsibility.
Registration with the State of California as a Professional Engineer is required.
Compensation and Benefits…
The salary range for the Associate level is $98,259 - $114,894 and the range for the Senior is $108,534 - $130,228 with placement dependent on experience.
