The Research Assistant / Research Coordinator will support the research activities of the Principal Investigator in the study of health policy and the regulation of biomedical technologies, precision medicine, and physician-industry relationships.
Primary responsibilities include identifying data sources, compiling data, and preparing data for analyses using statistical software. Other supporting responsibilities include conducting literature searches, drafting literature reviews, assisting with manuscript preparation, and assisting with grant and IRB submissions.
Candidates interested in preparation for graduate school will have the opportunity to take courses tuition-free at the University of Pennsylvania.
Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
We are looking for someone with excellent organizational skills, quantitative skills, attention to detail, oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated facility with SAS, Stata, or R. 1-2 years of research experience is required.
All majors are welcome to apply, but applicants with economics, public policy, statistics, or programming background with an interest in health policy / health economics would be the best fit for this position.
