In this position, you will support a Senior Design Engineer performing state-of-the- practice engineering analysis and designs for a variety of geotechnical construction applications. The Project Engineer will produce construction drawings and design calculations for a wide range of earth retention, structural underpinning and ground modification projects. Typical projects include ground improvement for embankment and structural support, slope stabilization, full displacement columns and ground improvement to reduce settlement or increase bearing capacity, shallow and deep foundation systems, and a wide variety of other unique and challenging projects.
Qualified candidates should have an E.I.T. certification, master’s degree preferred with a Geotechnical Engineering focus or undergraduate Civil Engineering Degree with ground improvement design experience. Knowledge of software packages such as LPILE, SLIDE, GSTABL, SETTLE3D, MSEW, and Microsoft Office products are a plus.
