Provide experience and knowledge to project execution and control on civil engineering and drainage projects to achieve continuity and high standard results. Perform hydrology/hydraulic analysis for the design and construction of drainage and flood control projects. Responsible for drainage design, including, but not limited to the design of storm sewers, culverts, bridge deck drainage and roadside ditches. Perform storm water management system and pond design. Serve as a technical liaison with client on project efforts. Provide support to city staff on drainage related issue. Assist citizens, as well as, developers with questions concerning FEMA firm maps and drainage issues in the city. Provide technical assistance to regional drainage communities such as watershed steering committee. Knowledge and ability to support FEMA's Risk MAP Production and Technical Services contract, Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program and other related contracts with the U.S.

SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervise full time employees (EIT's). Responsible for formulating preliminary department budget.
