Position Title: Transportation Manager
Reports to: Regional Lead
The Transportation Manager works under the direction and guidance of the Regional Lead and works collaboratively with other RKA managers and engineers in leading the Company toward its long-term vision of being the preeminent transportation consulting firm. This role performs the tactical and leadership operations to support many Company projects, public and private. This is an exempt position, and serves as an ambassador of the RKA brand to internal and external clients.
Primary Responsibilities and Expectations
The Transportation Manager may, from time to time, be assigned tasks and/or responsibilities beyond the description or scope of the job described on these pages.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and P.E. licensure in the state where this person’s work is primarily performed; PTOE certification is desirable.
Experience: At least ten years of overall and progressively responsible experience with public and private sector projects, ideally with some level of leadership of other Engineers and associates.
Environment: Office, Town Halls, and construction sites
