Wood is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our growing, outstanding, and energetic team of award - winning environmental and water resource professionals in one of our four convenient office locations in the Puget Sound, Washington region, or in our Portland, Oregon Office. We work closely with our clients on habitat restoration, fish - passage, coastal development, and water quality protection projects.
You would play a key role in projects addressing stream and estuarine habitat restorations, culvert replacement, and fish passage design. Our preferred candidate would have completed successful fish passage projects in the Pacific Northwest within the last 5 years following Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Stream Simulation Guidelines or U.S. Forest Service’s Stream Simulation Approach.
This role will manage or contribute to successful projects from early planning and concept, through design, approvals, construction and monitoring phases.
