Experience & Training
To classify as a Level RA II or TE II, a minimum of three years of progressively responsible professional experience in transportation planning or engineering is required. To classify as a Level RA III or TE III, a minimum of five years is required. Such experience may have been gained from a combination of experience and training. Training may have been gained through graduation from a four-year degree program from an accredited college or university with major course work in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or a full year of intern or co-operative education experience can be substituted for one year of experience.
