The IT Asset Administrator is responsible for administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function, and maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.
This position is responsible for driving proactive Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) processes across the life cycle of IT equipment, materials and services from acquisition through retirement. This position implements and maintains the ITAM program and its supporting processes to mitigate compliance risks and identify cost saving opportunities related to IT assets.Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strategic relationships with colleagues, supervisors, vendors/key suppliers, consultants, auditors, internal clients and others. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the configuration management database (CMDB), overseeing complex licensing agreements and translating them into technical data requirements, as well as working closely with procurement and accounting team members to ensure policies and procedures are followed and purchases are made, recorded and tracked correctly.
This position will require a high level of organization to keep track of numerous, simultaneous projects, frequent training to keep up with change vendor landscapes and licensing programs, and a commitment to continual learning and development. The role is one where inefficient or ineffective processes and systems must be identified and joined with respectful communications and suggestions for constructive improvement.

Bi-weekly salary range for this position: $ 2,277 - 3,131 (DOQ)
