The human resources manager is responsible for strategic direction and day-to-day management of a human resources (HR) team engaged in human resource planning and people-related initiatives that support Platte River's future. Reporting to the director of HR & safety, the individual in this role will work closely with leaders in the organization to understand business and talent development needs and to build and deliver innovative solutions.
The position is responsible for overseeing, performing and engaging in the functions and activities of the human resources organization including, but not limited to: learning and development, talent management, performance management, employee relations, staffing management and control, payroll, compensation, position classification, benefits, policy, talent acquisition and retention, compliance, budgeting, diversity and inclusion, records management and HR administration.
This position is responsible for the supervision of Platte River employees and has six (6) direct reports. The individual in this role must possess the required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to perform the essential functions of the job either with or without reasonable accommodation(s).

Bi-weekly salary range for this position: $ 3,956 - 5,439 (DOQ)
