Under direction of the Regulatory and Legislative Affairs Manager, the 5620 Regulatory Specialist provides analytical and policy support on current energy regulatory, legislative and ratemaking matters that affect San Francisco’s energy interests, in particular the operations of the Power Enterprise, and evaluating the impacts of existing and proposed regulations and legislation on the Power Enterprise and on San Francisco.

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in natural sciences, engineering, environmental or resource planning or a related field; AND
Four years of verifiable work experience in environmental permitting and regulations; environmental investigations; environmental or other regulatory compliance; or environmental project management; or utility regulatory analysis; AND
Possession of a valid California driver's license.
