Section I: Scope
The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is seeking to fill a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position beginning in the Fall 2020 semester.
Section II: Responsibilities
Reports to: Chairperson of Civil & Environmental Engineering Department
The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate (M.S. level) courses in construction management, as well as civil engineering courses at the undergraduate level. In addition, the candidate will be expected to engage in service activities on campus and with off-campus engineering groups. The candidate is encouraged, but not required, to be engaged in research and publish in his/her area of expertise.
Candidates will be evaluated on the above criteria as well as their academic background, professional experience, communication skills, and potential for excellence in teaching, professional activity, and service to the college.
Completed applications must include a statement of teaching interests, a statement of research interests, copies of college transcripts, and a detailed curriculum vita, along with the names and contact information for three references. The above items should be uploaded as a single pdf document.
