Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Environmental Engineering
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering University of California, Irvine The UCI Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications to fill a faculty position at either the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Environmental Engineering. We seek a creative and collegial early-career scholar with a strong engineering background whose research interests address water security (as defined by the United Nations) in the face of urban expansion, aging infrastructure, extreme events, limited resources, and climate change. Candidates whose research aligns with the following areas are of particular interest: (1) innovation in water and wastewater treatment, (2) linking environmental fate and transport processes to human and ecosystem health in extreme and non-extreme conditions, (3) engineering approaches for water security.
