The Denver Public Works Deliver Team is seeking two Senior Project Managers. These are limited positions. One position is on the Mobility Deliver team and has an expected end date of December 31, 2025. The other position is on the Project Implementation team and has an expected end date of May 31, 2026.
The Department of Public Works delivers services that help to define and improve the quality of life in Denver. Denver Public Works is responsible for road maintenance and repair; residential trash, recycling and compost collection; design and construction of streets, bridges, public buildings, and storm and sanitary sewers; transportation and parking services; oversight and regulation of use of the public right-of-way; and implementation of the Public Works Environmental Management System (EMS). The Mobility Deliver team focuses on quick implementation of small- to medium-sized improvements to the transportation network. Projects vary from signing/striping operational changes to intersection reconstruction, and surface civil infrastructure improvements. Transportation network projects include coordinated implementation of improvements for all modes; pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and vehicular operations. The Project Implementation team focuses on the optimization of infrastructure project delivery using program management best practices. Projects can include transportation, transit, facilities, and environmental restoration.
