Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an electrical engineer. Responsibilities include designing low- and medium-voltage power systems, lighting and associated control systems, fire alarm and mass notification systems; preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction; performing periodic construction site visits; mentoring less experienced staff; and assisting with business development activities. Some travel is required.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: design of building electrical systems including low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting and controls, fire alarm and mass notification systems; BIM software (Revit preferred); lighting design software (AGI32 preferred), power design software (SKM Power Tools and/or EasyPower preferred), Microsoft Office; preparing construction documents; coordinating engineering documentation; knowledge of codes, statutes, and laws related to building design and construction.
