Watearth's Water Resources Engineering Manager must be able to work independently with good written and oral communication skills, manage multiple complex projects, manage direct reports, and creatively solve problems. Roles and Responsibilities:
This position is for a full-time employee of Watearth and working on a variety of water resources and environmental projects with a focus on water resources (hydrology/hydraulics, stormwater, Low Impact Development, water/wastewater) planning and modeling and water resources and civil site design. Position is equivalent to ASCE Grade VI and includes the following roles and responsibilities:
Projects can be in a variety of locations where we have offices. Although regular travel is not required, some travel may be needed. Candidate is expected to be a licensed Professional Engineer in state of residence.
This is a full-time position and is to be filled as soon as a qualified candidate is identified. Minimum Experience Requirements
* Water Resources Manager experience, including both planning and design preferred
* P.E. license in state of residence required
* 10+ years experience in water resources planning and design required
* Experience with project management and staff management on multiple and complex projects as demonstrated in resume
* Experience with hydrology/hydraulics, stormwater, water quality modeling, Low Impact Development, or water resources planning, modeling, and design required
* Prefer demonstrated construction phase and/or field work (i.e., stormwater inspections) experience
*Experience with groundwater, water, and wastewater planning, modeling, and design preferred
* Experience with GIS required
* Experience with CAD preferred
