The ideal candidate is an intellectually curious, detail-oriented and motivated engineer who will lead technical projects and manage production teams in the firm’s stormwater and water resources group. The group operates in five main areas: Hydrology & Hydraulics/Stormwater Management Design, PD&E Drainage, Bridge Hydraulics/Scour Analysis, Construction Plans & Calcs and Independent Peer Review.
You will be responsible for maintaining production of multiple projects within budget and schedule, applying your experience in stormwater design, watershed modeling & drainage analysis to provide sustainable solutions within highway, civil, and infrastructure assignments. This role is responsible for client-facing relationships, and your responsibilities will include report preparation, client management and presentations.

The firm is headquartered in metro Orlando, Florida, in the center of Florida’s rapidly-growing markets with projects in all areas of Florida, working daily with a complementary, multi-disciplinary team of experts. Projects completed in the past year include a 70 square mile floodplain model in Highlands County for the SWFWMD, an Alternative Stormwater Management design for 5 miles of limited access highway in Citrus County for Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, and Pond Siting Reports and Location Hydraulics Reports for three separate segments of new roadway alignments in Osceola County for the Central Florida Expressway Authority. You will help to build highly effective teams, and be directly involved in production for more complex tasks within your projects.
You will have expertise in your discipline and contribute to proactive client communication, ongoing grooming of junior staff to develop efficiency, proficiency and encouraging exchange of ideas and knowledge, and support to Principals to grow the Water Resources team.
