Seeking a talented professional to provide leadership on projects, with staff and client as the company moves into its 31st year. Traffic Engineer to provide project management and staff oversight on multiple projects. In addition the applicant will be required to quality control reports and analyses, provide analyses and attend meetings to explain results.
This position requires sound knowledge of traffic studies and transportation planning. Local knowledge preferred. The position should also bring an additional skill set to the firm to include: signal design, MOT, signal timing, to enhance the services already provided.
This position must be able to demonstrate a commitment to the field. Candidate should be a "go-getter" when it comes to problem solving and client satisfaction.
Evening meetings may be required based on hearing dates and community meeting schedules.
Professional Engineer Registration is preferred but highly skilled 3 year+ planning on taking the PE exam would be considered. AICP will also be reviewed and considered based on education track and professional focus.
The preferred candidate would have a Professional License in Florida as a Civil Engineer.
Also considered: EI preparing to take the PE exam and AICP with 4+ years of experience
All candidates shall possess knowledge with excel and HCS and knowledge of transportation areas to include; mobility, parking, FDOT standards.
