The University of Tulsa’s Collins College of Business invites candidates for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in data analytics – rank according to experience- starting August 2020. Salary and teaching load are commensurate with education and experience and are competitive with AACSB accredited institutions.
Academic rank will be based on the applicant’s academic qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include, life, health, disability insurance, and retirement. The successful applicant will teach face-to-face and online courses in the College’s undergraduate and graduate Business Analytics and MBA related programs, maintain active and productive research in the expanding field of Data Analytics and/or Operations Management, broadly defined, and engage in appropriate professional and service activities.
Candidates who possess a Ph.D. degree in Analytics, Data Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field are invited to apply. While ABD’s close to completion will be considered, preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D’s., candidates who have an established record of quality teaching and research, and candidates who have teaching experience using the latest instructional technology.

The Collins College of Business is accredited by AACSB International, which maintains the highest standards for business schools in the world, and has been named one of the top undergraduate business schools by Bloomberg Businessweek and Princeton Review. Home to approximately 650 undergraduate business students and 200 graduate business students, the College has four academic units and approximately 45 business faculty positions. Degree offerings include Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Accounting (MAcc), online Master of Energy Business (MEB), and the BS in Business Administration (BSBA).
