The Department of Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Utah seeks outstanding applicants with a PhD for two tenure-line assistant professor positions. Highly qualified applicants at all levels will also be considered in the stated areas, including the tenured-associate or tenured-professor levels. The areas of emphasis for this new hire are soft-condensed matter, polymers, biomaterials, photonic materials, semiconductors, and materials for energy applications. Candidates with experimental, computational or theoretical expertise in the above areas are encouraged to apply.
