The Southwest Florida Water Management District (District), a leader in protecting Florida’s water resources, is seeking a Professional Engineer in support of the Water Resources Bureau. The successful candidate will be responsible for professional level technical and administrative engineering work in support of permitting and compliance, physical science, and water resources management. Applies knowledge of engineering principles, project management, scientific findings and environmental laws to evaluate, plan, design and complete water related projects.

Bachelors or better in Civil Engineering or related field.
Bachelors or better in Environmental Engineering or related field.
Bachelors or better in Water Resources Engineering or related field.
5 years: Related work experience relevant to civil, environmental, or water resources engineering for Professional Engineer position level
7 years: Related work experience relevant to civil, environmental, or water resources engineering for Senior Professional Engineer position level
