Wood Environmental & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Roofing Technician to travel independently, or with a team, to perform minor roof preventative maintenance at various client site locations. The technician shall meet various project clerical and physical needs including, but not limited to, verbal communication with site contacts and Wood project management teams, scheduling of site visits, clerical paperwork consisting of daily work / inspection reports, photo collection during site visits and input of information into the project database. Being able to evaluate and mitigate / solve field conditions is an essential part of the role. This position demands a focused attention to safety and the ability to assess and safely work according to the existing conditions at each location visited. Any company related travel accommodations, such as hotel and food, will be covered by Wood at the determined Government Per Diem rate. Wood will provide a full - size work truck, fuel, maintenance, vehicle insurance, tools and equipment relevant to the project scope.
