Composite Structural Analysis
The National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) has an opening for a Research Engineer with expertise and experience performing finite-element modeling and non-linear structural analysis of metallic and composite aerospace structures. The successful candidate must have demonstrated proficiency in the use of finite element codes used for the design, analysis, and assessment of the response of composite structures subjected to a wide variety of loading environments (to include both structural and thermal).
The successful applicant will be a member of a technical team engaged in the development of advanced aerospace vehicle structures at the NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA.
