Under limited supervision, provides research and analysis to support operations initiatives and strategic programs through the use of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive modeling, advanced statistical techniques, and complex mathematical modeling/tool development. Creates end-to-end solutions that drive business results and communicates results to a broad range of audiences. Researches significant developments in current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends, develop business insights, and provide recommendations to stakeholders. Works with cross-functional teams.
Master's Degree in operations research, applied mathematics, statistics or related quantitative discipline. Directly related PhD is a plus. Three (3) years’ experience in applying operations research (optimization, algorithms, mathematical modeling), data science (machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical analysis), and data analytics modeling to decrease cost, increase profitability, and improve customer experience. Strong analytical, problem solving, presentation, project management, and software (Microsoft Office and web-based applications) skills. Strong human relations, organizational/time management and communication skills.
