Transpo Group is seeking a highly motivated Transportation Engineer who is looking for an opportunity with a lot of growth potential. The Transportation Engineer role evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria, in making minor adaptations and modifications. This role receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
Entry level into the profession. Prepares basic engineering designs and supporting calculations / documentation including channelization, traffic signals, roundabouts, signage, illumination, signage, and non-motorized facilities. Performs basic engineering and planning data collection including traffic counts, accident data, and field measurements. Need to know industry software pertaining to engineering or planning. All work is directed and reviewed by project manager.
