Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking Section Leader Radiation Protection to lead the Radiation protection staff in planning, overseeing, and implementing the Radioactive material license issued by NRC, California and Colorado, and operational radiation protection program on projects in the field. Trains and qualifies Radiological Control Technicians, Radiation Workers, and Radioactive Materials Users. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Radiation Protection Programs and their various subordinate program elements that support the radioactive materials licenses and permits held by the Radiological Services & Engineering group.
Assigns and supervises personnel assigned to the Radiation Protection Section. Provides operational support and oversight to field personnel who are implementing the radiation protection program. Oversees the compilation, analysis, review, and reporting of data collected in support of the radiation protection program. Effectively communicate with customer and regulatory personnel in the field and in meetings. This is a full - time position based at the Grand Junction, CO Radiological Services & Engineering office.
