Must be dependable with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines and provide high quality work. We are a national engineering firm, designing the future in transportation, energy, water, and environmental infrastructure – are we the road to your future?Responsibilities• Perform the routine aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles.• Projects may include design and repair of highway bridges and retaining walls, bridge load ratings, review of working drawings and cost estimating.• Analyze structures using various structural engineering software programs.• Prepare or check structural calculations and details of structural elements for various materials, predominantly steel and concrete.• Prepare structural drawings in Micro Station and AutoCAD.• Coordinate with other disciplines such as roadway and drainage, and perform checks of documents for conformance to structural drawings.
