Jones Edmunds, one of ENR's top 500 design firms has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Project Manager for our Civil and Environmental Design Discipline. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years experience in consulting, managing projects, in an Engineering Consulting environment. Federal client management and consulting a plus.
The Project Manager exercises discretion and independent judgment in managing projects of various scope with complex features, and in accordance with the Jones Edmunds Project Management Manual. The Project Manager is responsible for overall project quality, schedule adherence, and financial performance. This individual assigns tasks to and oversees engineers, technicians, and administrative staff working on the project. The Project Manager has extensive interaction with technical and non-technical staff, clients, officials, contractors, vendors, and others. The Project Manager prepares the scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments. This individual is expected to attend project meetings and develop and make presentations concerning specific aspects of engineering assignments. The Project Manager is responsible for continued marketing and sales to clients with whom they are working.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: BS in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management, or related field from an accredited college or university. A minimum of 12 years of progressive professional experience in an A/E firm focused on municipal civil/environmental projects, and at least 18 hours of continuing intellectual instruction in training programs approved for continuing education hours by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers during the prior 2 years may be substituted for a BS.
Registration: May require registration as a Florida Professional Engineer, Geologist, or Architect
Experience: 8+ years of progressive consulting or related experience
Other: Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable MVR
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must have knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, leadership, accounting, finance, and practical application of engineering science and technology, including applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to design services. Must stay up to date on knowledge of construction and government standards relevant to engineering and have the ability to apply new technical knowledge on the job. Must also possess the skills required to positively and productively interact with the client.
