In general the OSP Engineer shall be experienced in OSP design of copper, coax, and fiber optic facilities, in aerial, underground, and buried applications. As well as all aspects of aerial construction including span lengths, pole loading, anchoring, guying, and attachment heights and familiarity with Joint Use regulations is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Project Engineer include design of buried and aerial cable systems and OSP supporting structures. This includes managing field crews to assure accurate and detailed field notes, drafting, and validating.
