Bring your passion for public service and multimodal transportation to our team as a principal transportation planner in historic downtown Portland! In this role, you will lead major, often controversial and complex planning projects of statewide significance. Share your expertise with others and make a difference as you provide policy and project management guidance in moving major planning projects from conceptual plan to regional consensus, addressing all regulatory and community issues through preliminary design, for project-ready hand-over for the implementation phase.
Our Region 1 employees work on projects that challenge the industry standard and that give back to our communities. We are currently working on projects from the recent transportation package, HB2017.
We invite members of all diverse communities to join our workforce as we endeavor to best serve Oregonians from every background. ODOT values diversity and inclusion because they are good for Oregon. We believe that by welcoming differences, encouraging new ideas and views, listening to and learning from each other, and providing opportunities for professional enrichment we are better able to serve those around us. We thank you for considering this employment opportunity.
