The Materials Research Laboratory (MRL) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking a highly motivated Managing Director for the Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology Center (IQUIST). IQUIST's mission is to explore applied quantum information science, thereby bringing world-changing technologies, a cutting-edge workforce, and new industries to the state and to the world. IQUIST seeks to accelerate quantum information science (QIS) research on the Urbana campus through collaborations across physics, electrical and computer engineering, computer science, math, and other engineering disciplines; and to build new educational programs to better equip a future QIS-smart workforce. Reporting to the IQUIST Director, the Managing Director will develop and execute the financial, managerial, and administrative functions of the Illinois Quantum Information Science and Technology Center (IQUIST).
