The University of Wisconsin – River Falls invites applications for an Associate Lecturer position in Agricultural Engineering. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interests and ability to teach undergraduate courses with specializations in agricultural systems, environmental systems, food/process engineering, mechanical design, machinery, and/or engineering programming. Teach one or more courses and laboratories in agricultural engineering, such as introduction to engineering, off-road vehicle engineering, instrumentation and controls, programming (VBA, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Simulink), computer-aided drafting and design (AutoDesk and/or CREO), internal combustion engines, agricultural machinery management. The candidate may also be called upon to mentor undergraduate research projects. Based upon department needs, other courses may also be assigned depending upon candidates’ area(s) of specialization.
Candidates with expertise in one or more of these areas are particularly encouraged to apply immediately for the Fall 2019 semester. Experience in teaching at the college level is preferred. This position is especially suitable for those seeking professional growth and experience at a primarily undergraduate institution.
