The position is a Manager, Facilities Construction and Management Operations position with Facilities Construction and Management. This position is primarily responsible for supervising Project Managers, design team; reviews construction documents; prepares project budgets and monitors CIP budget; makes material requests and schedules jobs; the management of Major Maintenance (MM) and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects as assigned by the Director. The Manager is responsible for the on-time and on-budget delivery of his/her assigned projects, project leadership from the conceptual phase through final acceptance of construction, and the supervision and evaluation of staff who assist on his/her projects. The position entails a wide degree of creativity and latitude in technical matters. Incumbent may exercise considerable independent decision making. Coordination of projects with local and state agencies.
