The incumbent will join a team dedicated to delivering quality, results-driven, fiscally responsible services that strengthen our community and enhance opportunity. The Resource Management Agency Director will be responsible for administering and managing the following service areas that make up the RMA: Development Services, Engineering, Long Range Planning, Capital Projects, Integrated Waste Management and other divisions that may be added to the RMA in the future. The Resource Management Agency Director an exempt at-will position and is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the County Administrative Officer.

REQUIRED CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
As a condition of employment, the incumbent will be required to:
• Possess a valid California Class C driver’s license or the ability to provide suitable transportation that is approved by the appointing authority.
EXAMPLES OF EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION TRAINING
Any combination of training, education and/or experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities and required conditions of employment listed above is qualifying. An example of a way these requirements might be acquired is:
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Engineering, Architecture or Planning; Master’s degree preferred; and
• Three years of executive management experience in a large and complex organization including experience working in local government and working with elected officials.
