The Circuit Repair Laboratory, led by Edmund Hollis, II, Ph.D., is currently seeking an exceptional, motivated, and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
Our laboratory studies the plasticity of motor and sensory systems following spinal cord injury. Our research is described at https://burke.weill.cornell.edu/hollis-lab. We are currently looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with an interest in molecular and systems neuroscience. These studies utilize optogenetic and chemogenetic testing of circuit function in combination with more traditional anatomical and functional tools. These studies will involve optogenetic testing of circuit function in models of spinal cord injury. The tools employed will include multiphoton imaging and physiological approaches and assessments of circuit function in combination with anatomical and behavioral tools.
To apply, candidates should email their curriculum vitae with cover letter to Dr. Edmund Hollis II, Ph.D. at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the subject line, please include your name followed by “Postdoctoral Applicant.” Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
The Burke Neurological Institute is an equal opportunity employer with competitive pay scales and benefits.
