OCSD is currently looking to fill the role of an Engineering Manager.This position will function as an important member of OCSD's management team and will provide leadership, vision, and guidance to staff in accordance with OCSD's Mission, Vision, and Core Values. The position requires strategic thinking, planning, staff motivation, and day-to-day management responsibilities; and is instrumental in developing and managing objectives and standards for planning, design projects, and the execution of the Planning Division Capital Improvement Program, the Asset Management Program, and enterprise-wide project management. The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of the engineering profession, and how they apply to the design and construction of wastewater collection and treatment projects. The successful candidate should also have an understanding of the principles and practices of management, supervision, and performance evaluation; and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
