The Department of Transportation (DOT), Virginia's largest local transportation agency, seeks an experienced and innovative business analyst to lead DOT's implementation of the Capital Project Management Information System (CPMIS) in conjunction with the Department of Public Works and Environmental Services (DPWES), the lead agency on the project. As DOT's project manager, this position will assist the department in modernizing and standardizing business processes supporting both employees and customers. Specific duties include:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in business, computer science or a field related to the department where the IT services are being used: plus four years of experience analyzing business processes and/or developing/maintaining the main business system, technical platform or a related system.NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background and credit check to the satisfaction of the employer.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
