The research group of Prof. Mark Prausnitz at the Georgia Institute of Technology conducts a broad range of biomedical engineering research studies involving animals and human subjects. While members of the research team are responsible for the technical content of IRB and IACUC protocols, we seek a part-time manager working from home to oversee the process, work with researchers to prepare applications and respond to IRB/IACUC reviews, facilitate research compliance and otherwise manage interactions with the IRB and IACUC. While Georgia Tech is located in Atlanta, the work for this position can be done from home. Compensation will be on an hourly basis, averaging ~5 hours per week, although the needs may vary week to week depending on IRB and IACUC protocol deadlines and other factors. This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time work to supplement other professional activities. We seek someone interested in working for multiple years.
