Smithgroup’s San Francisco office is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. Our engineering team supports all of our industry leading design studios including: Higher Education, Workplace, Science & Tech, Healthcare, and Senior Living. The ideal candidate will have experience in California designing electrical systems for complex lab projects and be driven to expand that work within the following frameworks, Net Zero Energy, Living Building Challenge, LEED V4 and WELL Building Standard, including a range of high-efficiency electrical systems designed to reduce energy use and align developers with statewide carbon neutrality goals. Experience with grid-interconnected PV and Battery Storage systems is ideal. The candidate should have experience partnering with other sub-consultants and trade partners to identify cost-transfer and efficiency opportunities that maximize owner value while minimizing environmental impact.
