The Lead Project Manager executes the project delivery process by managing project activities with sponsors, responsible parties, engineers, construction administrators, management and other stakeholders within the Dispersed Water Management Unit. Projects managed directly engage the Agricultural Industry, regulatory teams across multiple agencies, and financial sponsors.
The Incumbent is responsible for implementing projects in the Dispersed Water Management (DWM) Program including the Northern Everglades Public Private Partnership (NE PPP) Program and will be expected to maintain budget, schedule and scope of each project while nurturing business partnerships with the agricultural community, coordinating agencies, and regulatory teams.
The position crosses the planning, construction, and regulatory arms of the District’s capital and operating programs. The incumbent must have a working knowledge of water resources and state and federal permitting as well as working knowledge of construction processes related to water resources projects, including earthwork and water control structures.
This position may be filled at the Senior Project Manager level.
