As the City continues to rapidly grow and attract new residents and businesses, the City of Redmond is seeking to fill the newly created position of Facilities Manager with an experienced and dedicated professional. This position works alongside the Parks Deputy Director to develop and implement short and long term strategic plans and capital improvements, and oversees the administrative functions, operations, planning, maintenance and repair activities of multiple City buildings and facilities.
An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and five to eight years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management.

Working Conditions:Work is performed both indoors in a climate-controlled workspace, and outdoors. Outdoor work can expose the employee to seasonal heat and cold or adverse weather conditions, traffic, dust, noise, confined spaces, chemicals, and physical hazards from mechanical and electrical equipment and may require climbing, reaching, grabbing, bending, stooping, kneeling and crawling; ability to maneuver on uneven terrain. May occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50. Indoor work consists of planning, research and other office work making substantial use of computer resources, sitting, talking, hearing. Subject to 24-hour emergency call out.
