Larkin University (LU) College of Pharmacy (COP) seeks a full-time faculty member for the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the discipline of Pharmacology. All subspecialties will be considered; however, preferred subspecialties include, renal, gastrointestinal, infectious, and hematologic/oncological disorders. The Faculty will have responsibilities in different aspects of academia including but not limited to didactic teaching, research, student advising, and service to the institution and profession.
LUCOP currently maintains ACPE Candidate Status with application for full accreditation during the current cycle, with our inaugural class graduating in May 2019. LUCOP’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program is very dynamic using an active-learning, integrated-block, three-year curriculum. Candidates should have Ph.D. in Pharmacology/Toxicology or a closely related biomedical science field. Candidates with background or teaching experience in pharmacy will be preferred. This position is open to all candidates authorized to work in the United States.
