The Civil and Structural Engineering Division is currently looking for a Track Engineering Manager to join our team. As a part of an integrated team, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate, manage, and supervise a team of engineers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the agency's track related technical criteria. This may include signing and sealing plans and specifications. The Track Engineering Manager should have a strong background in engineering principles related to track and demonstrate the ability to effectively lead a team of engineers with varying levels of expertise.
Under general direction, manages, supervises and coordinates the rail/track related engineering activities that are necessary to support the agency's capital projects and operational support. Maintains oversight, development, and implementation of track-related technical criteria necessary to support design, construction, and operational needs. Manages staff or consultants to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinates assigned activities with other disciplines and departments as necessary.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, railroad engineering, or closely related field and eight years engineering experience (including four years of management experience) preferably in a light rail or heavy rail; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
