The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the School of Engineering and Computer Science seeks dynamic scholars to fill a tenure-track faculty position in a field that intersects the strategic areas of Materials Science and Health as identified in Baylor’s Illuminate vision document and that complements areas of departmental expertise, which include but are not limited to: additive manufacturing, biomaterials, and biomechanics. The position will begin in August 2019 at the Assistant Professor level. Responsibilities include active research, undergraduate and graduate teaching, course curriculum development, and professional service. Competitive startup packages will accompany the position.
