Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a full time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the newly merged Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Pharmacology (APP) at the University of Saskatchewan to begin July 1, 2019. Applicants must have a PhD degree in a biomedical discipline and should have post-doctoral experience in the neuroscience research field. Key selection criteria will include research excellence, originality and future impact on the field of neuroscience and related disciplines. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong externally-funded research program and be able to complement the research strengths at the Cameco MS Neuroscience Research Center and Neuroscience Research Cluster which include Multiple Sclerosis, neuroplasticity, neuropathology and nervous system repair (https://medicine.usask.ca/centres/cameco.php ; http://neuroscience.usask.ca/ ). The selected candidate will also contribute to teaching in the Department of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology undergraduate and medical programs, and to the teaching and mentoring of graduate students.
