Experience: Entry level position requiring strong organizational, analytical, teamwork, communication and mechanical skills. Previous team work experience with responsibilities preferred.
Education: High School diploma/GED required. Wastewater treatment plant operation and or maintenance experience is preferred. Specialized education in mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, environmental science, mechanics, hydraulics, computer technology, laboratory, or applied science is desirable.
Licenses and Certifications: Possession of or ability to obtain a Wastewater Class I Certification from the State of Kansas within 18 months. Class B CDL with air brake and taker license within 6 months.
Work Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm, rotating on-call and weekend shift every 4 to 6 weeks.
Must successfully pass a supplemental background check, pre-employment and drug screen.
