Supervision of Subordinates:
Under the general supervision of the Vice President, directs the sales and marketing effort in designing, configuring, costing and supporting parent company products. Supervision may include recommendations for hiring, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards and reviews. May approve work assignments and ensures compliance with established policies and procedures.
Interfaces with customers, senior management, other internal departments and the parent company to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective systems design/configuration and equipment support.
DECISION-MAKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING:
Resolve product issues and problems for customers internally and with HOR management. Evaluates and determines scheduling priorities, project feasibility and appropriate applications
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Requires working knowledge of selling and marketing high technology products, as typically may be gained through a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong interpersonal, experience verbal and written communication skills; good computer skills. Requires a thorough understanding of and exposure to water quality products including familiarity with industry codes and standards and a working knowledge of water quality industry applications. Incumbent typically would have a minimum of five years of industry experience. Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
