Wood is currently seeing an Office Lead for our Fort St. John office. The ideal candidate will be capable of overseeing a small permanent local staff as well as large seasonal project teams including multi - disciplinary groups of technologists delivering archaeological, environmental and geotechnical services to local industry. Preference is for experienced candidates with an archaeological or environmental background, and flexibility to support field programs when necessary.
Reporting to the Regional Leadership in Burnaby, the Office Lead will be responsible for the operational management and long - term development of the team, clients and related business development, management of oil and gas projects, oversight on technical quality, and delivery on projects. These responsibilities will be delivered within a framework that manages risks and prioritizes safety.
We are seeking an individual with a strong operational background and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, challenging environment, and provide sound leadership. They will be a key player in the organization and have input in the overall direction of the Fort St. John office.
