Applies advanced-level professional engineering knowledge and skills to a broad scope ofengineering and project management assignments and issues. Uses independentjudgment, initiative, and creativity to make technical decisions of considerable difficultyand directing projects of significant complexity.
A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible work experience specifically in the NorthAmerican railroad industry, including four (4) years as a licensed Professional Engineer,performing the above and related primary duties within a technical and/or managerialposition is required. The ability to design and develop plans and specifications for internaland/or external use, in a CADD environment, is required.
A Professional Engineer license in the civil or structural disciplines is required at hire andAlaska Professional Civil Engineering registration and licensure must be obtained withinone year of hire. Must possess a valid driver's license.
Work experience specifically in the North American railroad industry
