The Department of Civil Engineering (CE) at Montana State University (MSU) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in environmental engineering at the assistant professor level. Primary duties and responsibilities consist of teaching, research and service/outreach. Teaching duties include undergraduate and graduate environmental engineering courses. The graduate program and newly approved undergraduate program focus on an array of environmental engineering topics including microbial and chemical processes in water supply, wastewater systems and groundwater, along with foundations in engineering mechanics, hydraulics and water resources. Research responsibilities consist of developing a nationally recognized, externally-funded research program in environmental engineering.
