The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center (DDPSC) in St. Louis, MO seeks candidates to fill an opening for Director of the Imaging and Microscopy Facility (IMF). The successful candidate will manage and provide leadership to the IMF (Click Here to Learn More About IMF), a core imaging facility which provides a variety of microscopy and other imaging-related resources to scientists at DDPSC and in the surrounding community. Developing up-to-date sample prep and imaging capabilities, and participation in projects supported by extramural funding as PI or Co-PI on grants, are also expected.
Candidate should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field of study.
This position will demand an exceptional sense of customer service, flexibility, hands-on problem solving ability, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
